Dr. Oscar J. Harp III, founder and CEO of Brain Enhancement Mindful Therapy LLC, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 50 years of experience. He has served in diverse settings, including military treatment facilities, public schools, universities, and hospitals, providing psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Dr. Harp holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Howard University, a Postdoctoral M.S. in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. He is a Fellow and Diplomate of the Association of Black Psychologists, with board certification in African/Black Psychology. His extensive background encompasses treating addictions, mood, and anxiety disorders and implementing behavioral stress reduction techniques. Dr. Harp has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia. Guided by his belief in resilience and personal growth, he shares his philosophy:
